Lord, You are righteous and just. You are faithful to be with those who follow You. You love them and You help them. if they become proud and arrogant, You humble them. You display Your might. You remind You people of Your power. everything You do is for Your glory. You reveal Yourself to Your chosen people. You reveal Yourself to those who are not Yours. You choose people for Yourself from all nations. the bible tells of one people group You chose from among the rest, but You chose more than that. You chose people from afar to be Yours. You show Your might to those who do not believe, and they believe. You unveil our heats that we may know of You. You are so mighty and wonderful. You do not tell us to stay the way we are. You ever change us and mold us. You reveal Yourself to Your children. once You have revealed Yourself You change us. You do not allow us to remain as we are. You love us too much to leave us here. we may go through ups and downs, but You always keep us. it never is about what we do. always it is about what You do. can we lose salvation? maybe. can You lose one of Your people? You leave the 99. You allow us to look out from the safety of Your love. You give us the grace to stay with You. once again, with the issue of losing salvation, we are forced to come before You in silence. while this issue is more clear than some, we repeatedly get lost in it. Your ways are unfathomable. we get lost any time we pick up the bible.

You give us the choice to fall away. You give us the grace to choose You. even if we leave You out of  frustration or confusion, You love us. You accept the prodigal son with joy. You called peter back to You when he gave up on You to go fishing. You are ever loving and compassionate. You are slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

let me sing of Your wonders. let me sing of the things You have done. You bring the sun every morning. You bring the stars every night. You place mysteries in the moon to bring people together. Your love knows no end. Your anger is terrifying. You clothe the grass of the field. You provide for the birds of the air and the beasts of the field. You take care of Your creation. you love the unloving. You are faithful to the unfaithful. You show mercy to the unmerciful. You show compassion to those without compassion. who is like my God?

You are three separate beings. You are one. You are above all. You came to the earth as a human. You care what happens to Your creation. You watch over all Your hands have made. nothing happens apart from Your will. You are mighty and good. You are fierce in Your relentless anger. You are abounding in love. although we are but inanimate objects, still You speak to us. You allow us to have a relationship with You although we can never know You in Your fullest extent. for how can a creature know that which has made it? You are too high for our thoughts to fathom. even though we can never be a true friend, You are our friend. You love us anyway. You are beyond words. I love You. I sing Your praises. You are.
